Way of Life

Farms in the middle colonies, such as Delaware, were very large, because of this, houses were more spread out. Since they were more spread out, towns were less important. They had counties, which contained smaller villages. The counties were the main centers of government. They had no main religion, but they let colonists worship freely. The children were taught by their parents. They used books. And their parents taught them to farm.
